Jinny Lee is a classically trained violinist and educator based in the San Francisco Bay Area, known for developing students with strong technical foundations and clear musical direction.
She serves as Principal Second Violin of the Stockton Symphony and regularly performs as a substitute violinist with Symphony San Jose and the Santa Cruz Symphony.
Jinny is also the co-founder of Ensemble di Luce, a chamber group dedicated to expressive and thoughtfully curated performances.
Her students have been accepted into highly selective programs including Juilliard, Tanglewood, and Colburn, as well as the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College and the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Jinny’s teaching is defined by a structured and highly individualized approach. Her students consistently achieve outstanding results, including acceptance into Juilliard, Tanglewood, and Colburn summer programs, as well as SFCM Pre-College and SFSYO.

Students from the studio have gone on to join SFCM Pre-College, SFSYO, All-State ensembles, and have been accepted into highly selective programs such as Juilliard, Tanglewood, and Colburn.
